The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Stain Review

I'm anemic and look pale when I'm bare-faced. So whenever I go out, I try to look as healthy and pretty (lol) as possible. But the weather's been so hot (to think that it's already October!) and chances are, when I go out and put make up on, it'll fade in a couple of hours. Effort lang talaga ang magpa-pretty, gahd!
That's when I started using lip and cheek tints. And now, I'll share with you one of my favourites-
The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Stain.

Murray thinks he can use a bit of the blush. LOL.

Price: Php 795/ 8ml tube
This is quite expensive given it's size when compared to other cheek stain available in the market. Good thing is that TBS frequently goes on sale. As of writing this, they're on sale (until November 4, 2015) so you can get this for only Php 495!

As a cheek stain, I dab it twice on each cheeks then spread them evenly and FAST as it dries up quickly. The stain would normally last for SIX hours when I'm in the office. When outdoors however, it would normally last three to four hours. Still not bad right?
As a lip stain, I rarely use it as such; but in the several instances that I did, it settle on the lines (hello, dry lips!) and did not last that long. Oh, and it would take two full coating for me to get that healthy-looking-lips look. Sayang lang to think na medyo mahal din to noh!

YAY:
✔ Gives me the flushed look in an instant
✔ Cheek stain lasts long
✔ No strong smell nor taste
✔ Loved it's packaging and the metal cap! So posh
^-^
NAY:
× A bit expensive for me
× Not quite suitable for parched lips
× Does not last long when used as a lip tint

I'd like to thank Miss Martha of The Beauty Junkee as this was included in the loot she sent me last month! *blush*
Has anyone else tried this? Also, do you have any recommendation on other brands that I can try?
Thanks for dropping by! Cheers!

  6. Judging from the consistency, it's probably not good for dry lips just like you had experienced... so far the best lip/cheek tint/stain I've tried is till Benefit Bene Tint and Lolli Tint :)

Wotcha ladies! This one is long overdue and the product is not new in the market BUT I felt I needed to share with you this amazing whitening soap. This wouldn't cost you more than a hundred pesos which makes it all the more wonderful, right?

Introducing, the newly improved Renew Placenta Herbal Beauty Soap! This one's so common, you've probably seen them in the grocery store a hundred of times now. However there's another placenta soap being sold in the market so to avoid confusion, just look for the soap that has Pauleen Luna's face on it.

Would you believe that this 135g bar only costs PhP 85? There's a smaller bar that's sold at PhP 55, too! I was amazed when I saw the price tag so I got one for myself and my mom.

I cut the bar in half - not only to avoid it from melting but to save it from my youngest brother. Hilig din nya gamitin …
