Japanese Straight @ Tomi No Haru Frisco

I first had my hair rebonded way back 2008 and since then I've had my hair rebonded at least five times until 2012. Then I came across Japanese Straight. According to the reviews I have read on line, most women who had their locks treated have been satisfied.

It was November 2012 when me and my colleague had our mane done in Tomi No Haru Frisco branch. It took me 9 months before I noticed my roots that needs another treatment! Yep, it's that effective on my hair! So yesterday, I, along with my sister and cousin went back to Frisco to have Japanese Treatment on our hair.

I purchased a Metrodeal voucher worth P 1,588 for Japanese Straight with Permanent Color and Protein Treatment. You just have to text first for your schedule and present your voucher along with the text and a valid ID.

We were there at 1 PM and since there's just Ate Regie at that time, she called for back up and Kuya Dexter arrived at around 2:30 PM. By the way, he was the same guy (yep, he's a HE!) who did my hair back in 2012. It took three hours and three applications before we had our hair washed and ironed out. Kuya Dexter is one of the senior stylist and he's an expert with the flat iron which is one of the key in getting that straight, soft hair.

After that you'd get another application and then the hair colour. After an hour and a half, Ate Regie washed my hair and applied protein treatment. After fifteen minutes, she again washed my hair then it's blow dry time! A quick iron followed and then we're done! After nine hours, my hair is straighter, softer and shinier! Tiis-ganda at tiis-gutom lang talaga! LOL.

Not your usual salon with the beautiful paints and colours but the treatment sure works!

My cousin, having her looong hair ironed.

They use two flat irons for each customers because they need to have the heat consistent.

Here's my photo during my first Japanese Straight back in 2012.

05.30.2014 This was a stolen shot last night (thanks to my Daddy Hubby..duh..) and that's how my hair looks like two months after I had the Japanese Straight.

Would you believe that this 135g bar only costs PhP 85? There's a smaller bar that's sold at PhP 55, too! I was amazed when I saw the price tag so I got one for myself and my mom.

I cut the bar in half - not only to avoid it from melting but to save it from my youngest brother. Hilig din nya gamitin …

The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Stain Review

I'm anemic and look pale when I'm bare-faced. So whenever I go out, I try to look as healthy and pretty (lol) as possible. But the weather's been so hot (to think that it's already October!) and chances are, when I go out and put make up on, it'll fade in a couple of hours. Effort lang talaga ang magpa-pretty, gahd! That's when I started using lip and cheek tints. And now, I'll share with you one of my favourites-
The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Stain.

Burnt Face & HHN Sunflower Beauty Oil (Review)

In my constant search for a new moisturizer that I can use, I came across Human Heart Nature Sunflower Beauty Oil. This one is very popular and a favorite among ladies. After some research, I decided to try it out. I had high hopes on the product since it claims 23 miracles, so how did it go, you ask?

Mestiza (The Healthy Skin Soap)

Wotcha ladies! Yes, this is another (affordable) whitening soap post. I am a big fan of Miss Kaycee of Kikaysikat and she recommended that I try this soap. Drum roll for Mestiza Soap!
